Anna’s Scammer Story

Anna is a woman living in Florida who has been in an online relationship with a man named Henry for over four years. She loves the way Henry makes her feel, but all of the trouble started only a couple of months into the relationship.

Henry is an oil rig worker who is currently working overseas on a big project. He ran into an emergency and had to ask Anna to borrow some cash. Then came a second emergency, and then a third. After a while, these emergencies became a common occurrence, and Anna couldn’t avoid the requests for money. What’s worse, Anna couldn’t say no. She recalls falling in love with Henry the second she heard his voice behind the phone, and she says she’s been head over heels ever since.

Anna Kept Her Family Away From The Situation

Over the past two years, Anna has lost tens of thousands of dollars. She’s lost so much that she’s embarrassed to bring the situation up to her family. She has four sons, and she believes that revealing this to them would break their hearts and infuriate them. When asked about the money, she says ” Sending the money, I don’t know why I did it. I wouldn’t have done it for my own children! And that makes me sad because that’s not the woman I am”.

During our investigation, we found the real man in the photos. He is a high-profile Canadian entrepreneur with a large social media presence. When finding more and more information that just didn’t add up, it made the fact that Henery’s stories were lies clear as day, and the fact that Henry was a scammer undeniable.

When Is It Time To Walk Away?

Now that we knew the truth, the next step was to get Anna to walk away. we tried to coax her through the process of calling the scammer and breaking it off. Anna insisted that she would just never send him money again. “I know he might be a scammer, but I believe deep down he really cares for me. If he only cares about the money, then what reason would he have to keep talking to me?”.

This scammer’s manipulative tactics have made Anna question whether she can live her life without him. Even though a reverse image search can help you find out whos really in the pictures, and a reverse username search can show you other accounts the scammer is using to scam other people, victims still have to have the strength to walk away. Run your reverse image search today, and if you get results that prove that they’re a scammer, have the strength to walk away.
