Wait, you’re confused about swiping? Basically, Tinder works with the premise of old photo sites like “Hot Or Not”, but this time you get to swipe right if you like someone and left if you don’t. From there, you can communicate through the site as though you were texting. It works in sync with your Facebook profile, though it doesn’t alert FB users.

Be warned, there will be times that swipe the wrong way mistakenly and bemoan the hot person you just put in the not pile. However, Tinder is addictive. Waiting for an appointment or a late friend? You’ll find it’s tempting to pick up your phone and start swiping for matches. It feels good when you get matched back with the person you swiped right on. Since you can only hear from people you intentionally matched, if you end up not liking them… you only have yourself to blame.
