  • Do's:

We specialize in helping people who are dating others online who are not sure if they are being told the truth.

If you've been told information that you think is fishy or just "doesn't add up." We can give you the peace of mind by verifying things like phone numbers, job status, marital status, images, social profiles and more.

  • Why is my name on the website?

We source and organize public data to help empower users with information to find, verify and keep themselves and their loved ones safe. If you have ever shared information on a public website or with third party platforms or services who publish such information, then it’s very likely that your information is publicly available on the Internet.

  • Why can’t I search? Explain the difference between trials.

There are several reasons why you may not be able to conduct a search after logging into your account:

    • You may not have purchased the plan to conduct that particular search. Social Catfish users enjoy a variety of search options. The type of search a user can and cannot do depends on the plan that he or she has. If a user only has Image Search, for example, he or she will not be able to conduct reverse searches for names, emails, addresses, phone numbers, or usernames.
    • Some searches are sometimes offered as an additional upgrade and can be unlocked after purchasing a subscription to such a plan.
    • Your account may be deactivated due to a billing issue.
    • Contact customer support if you need help at any time.

  • Why are there no results? Or Why can’t I find anyone I searched?

It doesn’t happen often, but it can happen. There are several reasons when there are no results to a search. It’s possible that the person for which you’re searching is very private and either doesn’t disclose any information on public websites or has opted to remove their information. It’s more likely, however, that the name or other information you’re researching was just recently created. It doesn’t necessarily mean the person isn’t who he or she claims to be.

In many cases, this can be interpreted as a red flag since it’s quite common for people to have information about them on the Internet. It is recommended that you try to search using other information to further validate. Always perform due diligence using our tools. Be safe and protect yourself at all times.

If you have any questions about this or think that you should’ve gotten results, email us at welcome@socialcatfish.com
