Area Code 918 Information and Location Details

Got a call that sounds like our across the street neighbor. Same first name anyway. Call was on land line. I said hello, then she said hello and this went back and forth about 3 times, after which she said “ You called me”. When I said “Our phone rang and you were saying hello, but I didn’t call you.” Maybe the phone company is working on the line? I’m not sure what is going on. A prank by kids

Another call about Medicare supplemental insurance. Hung up. Blocking.

Call came in on land line. Hung up when we answered the phone. Called back. Phone company recording said we had reached a call that was no longer in service. Caller id says OUT OF AREA and number on id has a 1 in front of it, even though it is in our same area code. Blocking.

Yet another call trying to sell Medicare Supplements. Recorded message. Hung up on call. Call came in on land line. Blocking.

Recorded sales call for Medicare Supplemental insurance. Scam Suspicion because no company name on caller id and caller is just a recording. Same area code as ours, when dialed back, phone company recording about needing to dial a 1 to place the call, which is not necessary on any calls in same area code, which is what the phone company will tell you if you try to call them back without the 1. Got a call from this number. Saw that there are no other comments yet, so I googled the number. A specific surname is attached to it. It is the same area code and exchange as our neighborhood, which is just SW of Tulsa, in Jenks, across a short bridge over the Arkansas River. Didn’t notice the call had come in on our Land Line. I actually Know the person who owns this phone number and I am writing here to tell ya’ll that it is very possible that someone else has used her name and phone number to make SCAM calls to people that live in areas near her. She herself, and now sometimes me too have even gotten the calls and they also come to her name and land line with her name and land line phone number as the caller id.!!!The

Faked phone number. Local area code but caller id says OUT OF AREA. If you call the number you will find it is a number that has been disconnected. SCAM! BLOCKING!

Probably SCAM call. My area code but caller id says OUT OF AREA. called number back (only on land line - home phone - since my cell is for friends only —plus call was made TO my home phone) - call answered by phone co. Saying I had reached a number that has been disconnected. Suspect burner phone SCAM call or just fake phone number on caller id. BLOCKING

Sales call or SCAM-TO-STEAL your personal information (SSN, DOB etc), take your pick. I picked up phone and it was a recording saying “Thank you for using Visa, MasterCard.....”. I didn’t wait to hear the rest of it. BLOCKING

Saw this person called me on my phone a while ago. Don’t recognize the name. Called them back twice half an hour apart. After several rings “answering service” or phone company? Recording answers call, asking you to leave your name and phone number. I didn’t.
