Area Code 847 Information and Location Details

Received a call on 10/22/2020 at 11:02 PM. Did not leave voice mail. Caller ID shows, "ZURICH NORTH AM."

This number is legitimate, and is from the office of IL-08 Congressional Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi. You should only be receiving calls from this number if you are a resident of IL-08.

An automated call came through. As soon as the person started talking, I put the phone down and let the phone call play itself out then hung up.

Do you often look up known phone numbers?

Marketing Research Company - Fieldwork Schaumburg. I've completed surveys with them and have gotten paid with Visa Gift Cards for my time. Two locations - Schaumburg, IL and Chicago, IL on Wacker and Michigan avenue. Legitimate company.

Had you googled the company, they are a legitimate company that does focus groups in the Chicago area. I've done focus groups and market research with them before.

"Gus" with "Fieldwork Market Research" left a message saying I would receive a $100 gift card "for doing a one hour web enabled phone interview." That it would be a $100 email for people who participated in their project. Then he listed dates and times that one could participate in their project. Sounds like one big phishing scam to me. Blocked.

This number registered on my caller ID 2x yesterday. Highly suspect. Area code 847 is Chicago's north and northwest suburbs. This caller is highly suspect... not likely any federal government agency, more likely a scammer using a faked caller id tag.

Did not answer the call. Caller ID showed it was from US Govt

Called LATE: 7:16 PM CT. Either a phish or $cam. BLOCKED on 5/11//20. A name popped up. My Hubby checked but the redial went "this # is unavailable" SO WHY DO THEY CALL? UGH.

7:10 PM ct. Had to Re block this number after we purged numbers before. Why do these robo calls do this so bleeping late.
