Said I needed to call a 866# ( went so fast) a debt was being placed on my ss#.

Told me they were looking for a person and had complete ss# told me the person had a court order then preceded to tell me they were a law firm I asked the name of law firm then Barr number told me I’d be getting served as well now this is not legit do not BELIVE this fo not give any information out to them they have been non stop calling from different numbers .

I received a call from this company. I called them back to identify who they were. A lady stated that she is a law office. I then asked the name of the business to which she said, “That’s none of your business.” I then told her that in fact it was my business and she hung up on me. Do not give these scam artists your social security number or routing number. Block them!

They called me. They would not corporate. They tried to collect an old debt that was payed off. I tried to get an email address to send them proof. But they said it will be on the subpoena. Then hung up on me

It's up to them to prove you owe the debt, not up to you to prove you don't. Tell them to mail you proof of the debt.

Didn't answer. I never answer numbers I don't know. They left vm but most of the beginning was cut off. Researched and found what I thought I would find.ha u picked the wrong family. House and vehicles paid in full. No student loans. I hate these scammers.

It depends on how you make that acknowledgement. 43 States and the District of Colombia require that such an acknowledgement must be in writing to restart the SOL.
