There's no scam here. It's an operator for an Insurance Co. Clearinghouse. They got your number because somewhere you were interested in some type of insurance. They will send you some basic comparison quotes and then the call is to put you through to an actual insurance agent to speak with. The lady who called me regarding car insurance I had asked about was very friendly and polite. She asks if

Harassment from insurance people. I filled out a form for online quote for delta dental and the company has given my info to tons of insurance brokers in the area all offering me everything except dental insurance! These guys need to be reported
