Area Code 979 Information and Location Details

Comes in as a text asking for a Patronya and if she’s interested in selling her house.

Offering a hookup. Sex for money. Said they are local but area code (Ontario, Canada) is from a totally different country and state (Texas, USA)

This caller texted me saying that I had a California refund on an old rent deposit. I don’t own anything, I’m 18 and still live with mom.

Several calls from 979-493-5889.

Went to machine and they hung up.

I didn't answer. No message.

Received two calls within 30 minutes. Elderly woman states she's from Social Security & that I need to call back at this number. Social Security SCAM.

Scam- 2 calls claiming to be Social Security

I received 2 calls from (979) 493-6106. The second time, a voice mail was left. The voice was that of a very elderly woman. I called the number back from a different phone and the person answered "Social Security". SCAM!

"Social Security Administration", called twice, hung up when I asked what this was about

Received two calls. Told me to call back. Called back and it was an Indian calling center saying it was the Social Security Administration. Social Security does not have my cell phone number. SOCIAL SECURITY SCAM.
