Yup! I received this call yesterday also! I just want to say that that really sucks because I have had a lot of fraudulent activity on my SSN/personal info and I thought finally something is finally getting done/taken care of or at the very least stopped! But to my disappointment I googled the phone # and seen everyones responses to this same phone # calling them also! I just wish there was a bett

I received this same call from this # yesterday also. I blocked it today. Social Security scam.

The old "your Social Security Number has been suspended" scam. Blah blah blah. It's hard enough to call the real Social Security Administration, they NEVER call you unless you have an appointment, and you can bet they don't have a 979 area code. How do people actually fall for this crap?

Same problem as Avg Joe above. Called on my work number and they did the same thing with my co-worker.

Called my cell phone. I did not answer. No voicemail message. I called the number and received a recording that the person at that number has not set up their voicemail box.
