They are a collections company, usually for government entities. In my case, they are calling for overdue student loans :(

Scam, left message to call, did not say who the call was for. Not calling, it's a scam. I am not stupid.

Caller ID New Jersey call. I was screening and heard Pioneer Debt Recovery and some threatening words so I picked up to tell them I was recording the call and giving copy to my state's AG. The recording cut off while I spoke then started up again. It concluded saying I must call 18882870317. I have no debt.

Scam call about debt. These people should be thrown in jail.

Left message. SCAM call with all of the above. Don't fall for it. Said I was to call 888-287-0317 to resolve the problem.

Yes they are calling me multiple times too- and tracing other family members and old employers looking for me too - trying to collect a dead student loan debt.
