Voice mail threatened legal action against my Social Security Number. Scam robocall.

Anyone knows who calls from this phone number?

Received a call. No one was on the line after my answer.

Just another Craigslist rental scammer trying to get you to send them money to rent their house while they’re out of state. They say they’ll mail you the keys and the documents after you send money. They also will find some excuse as to why you cannot go inside and look before you send money. They claimed I could “peek through the windows or drive by” and tried to use the pandemic as an excuse. B

SSDI nor SS will ever call you. They just want to confirm you SSN so they can either take your money or use it for unspeakable things. NEVER EVER answer nor give the scammers your information. Call SS to report them.

SSDI will never call anyone because it is not alive. SSDI is a program run by the Social Security Administration. SSA only sends letters out unless you call them and request a callback. In that instance you must record your name so that when they do call you back you hear your name in your voice prior to talking to someone.

This number called several times.

Call, no message. SSI is certainly the Social Security Administration and these calls coincide with the fact I just received correspondence relating to my benefit amount for 2020. However, the letter doesn't refer to the fact someone will call - fat chance! Just another reason to have call id.
