Area Code 972 Information and Location Details

Called twice in a row and did not leave a voicemail or anything. Seeing some sites saying its TXU. I am not a previous customer of TXU so don't know why they would call me.

Same as Jasper. I just changed from TXU and they're calling to retain me. They also called her, we switched at the same time from TXU and they called her from the same number.

Repeated calls

Saw on other sites that this number is associated with TXU. I just changed providers and I think TXU is trying to retain me as a customer. No one answered.

Scam, I never had TXU and they call asking for payment, when we called back they hang up.

Robocaller/spoofed number. Returned call with my CID off. Not a working #. Go figure!

Call was automatically blocked as a robo caller. CID: 972-791-2821. Other sites say it is TXU robo calls.

Be careful of this call! This call is NOT from TXU Electric. I am an TXU User - on Autopay with an account in good standing. Received the call today from "TU Electric" that my account was in jeopardy. Called our TXU provider - they had made no calls to me and I am still in good standing.

Update - this is a TXU number, but when called we were talking with a representative in Central America with a baby crying in the background. The number that called saying we were in jeopardy was 972-231-2252

Two calls in 1 hour today. I don't owe them money. Used to show up as EPH but this month did show up as TU Electric Gas. Will ask for a different name than mine. Have has the same number in family for close to 20 plus years...faulty database maybe?

I get calls from this number all of the time and I have called TXU and they are unable to remove my number because the "account" in which this number is attached to is still active. Apparently they must have a faulty database because I have gotten 100's of calls over the last several years asking for different persons. I know they identify as TXU on the phone but caller ID shows "EPH". I remain suspicious of this number.

I have received calls from this number 4-5 times a day on my work cell phone. Why and how the heck did they get ahold of my work cell phone number. I don't give it out to utility companies and none of my utilities are located in Texas, I live in California.

If you are getting a call from this number it is because either your energy bill is past due or a person who has had your number before had their account tied to this number. There is an opt out and you can call TXU and have your number removed. This is not a scammer it is a totally legit call
