I received a call today that had my name correct and wanted to speak to me in regard to an unknown matter. The person gave me a personal name but not a name of a company. Caller ID registered as Lewisville, TX with a 972-537-3138 number, but the caller asked that I return the call at: 866 443 3117 extension 1181164.

Got the same kind of call but noted the individual enquired of was an incorrect name associated with my credit report some time ago. Pretty clear these calls are scams.

Looking for a "Jennifer" with same last name, calling everyone, we aren't related or know a Jennifer.... I'm guessing looking for money.

Listed as a TX number. Left a message about "trying to reach" several people with the surname "Barber," whom I have never heard of. Named FOUR different people in message while attempting to sound courteous & professional. Named herself as "Cassandra Hamilton." Gave a callback # of 866-443-3117, extension 1181594. Been getting robocalls more frequently lately.

Lots of criminal debt collection outfits in Texas. You don't have to live in that state to be called by a debt collector from another state.

Called my cell, and my parents house and left a message wanting information on a person that they said was a relative named Marcus Booth that I have no knowledge of.
