I block this call this morning and I have gotten the call again twice! I don’t understand why it’s coming through if I blocked it

FOR OVER A WEEK, CONSTANT CALLING FROM PHONE NUMBERS from 972-280-7286 and another from 888-288-9879. Wants me to connect to PCS, Says Kern County Jail, in Bakersfield California. REALLY TIRED OF IT!

It's a scam, fishing attempt to use your phone to second party bill u. Don't answer, just ignore it and it will go away. They will be persistent, so you need to be as well.

I have been receiving them for 2 days. Collect call from Scrooge at the Franklin County Correction center (Columbus Ohio)..

This was a collect call from a friend of mine who is in the Dona Ana New Mexico Dention Center.

I don't think this is a scam, cuz I called the detention center office to get the booking # of my friend who called me collect from this number, and they were able to provide it to me once I gave them his name and told them that I wanted to send him a letter in the mail, but it requires hi full name & booking # on the address info.

Some of you should try to change your attitude against people who are in that situation. I did a little over 2 years and the ONLY way to contact the outside world or your loved ones was through this system. Most people I meet have no idea that i've been through all that but it's made me a better person and also enlightened me as to how 90% of our prisons are. They are wharehouses for storing peopl

got a call on my cell from 972-280-7286..i didn't answer, but i called back on my work line. Got PCS, automated attendant, asking if i wanted to associate my phone number with a correctional facility account.

i just got a call from this number. I am at library computer room and could not pick-up so went on line and found out its probably from a correctional facility. Is it a scam to get people to pick-up or should I assume its someone I know? my kids and grandkids are all accounted for on the outside at this time.

I got my phone in December 2010.I got a few strange calls and text messages but they eventually stopped.All except one;this number (972-280-7286) kept calling me.They would call me at least twice a week.They would call while I was at school so I was never able to answer but they did leave voice messages which were just the recordings.So today I got the same call and i answered.The recording said i

I got a call at 11.36 at night from this number no one answer. We have elderly parent and do not calls like this later at night!!!!!!

I have received several calls from this number with the exact same collect call message saying it was from the grady county correctional facility.I'm sure it some kind of scam since the inmates voice who says his message is exactly the same and exact same words and tone.it is basicly a recording.

Number comes back to PCS - they help prisoners make phone calls. Severely creeped out they are trying to use my number for anything. I am guessing some prisoner in Chilcothe Ohio was trying to bill my phone for her phone calls.Need to keep an eye on phone bill to make sure there are no surprise charges on it.
