Who calls from this number and what do they want.

Continuously calls and leaves no message.

This caller did not leave a message. There was no Caller ID. The phone number was unfamiliar to me. There is no good reason for a total stranger to cold call me. This usually adds up to scammer/thief.

Wanted my birthday and to pay with credit card over the phone for medical debt.

Same as above. Call and either leave message and give no info, including the name who supposedly owes money; or without me giving more info than I am willing to give, they won’t give me any more info either. Total scam. My bills are paid and I have zero debt.

Just received the same call, saying my father who passed away 3 years ago had an outstanding debt. Wished them good luck in collecting.

I received a call from Americollect from this number. I am not aware of any outstanding bills. They would not give me any information without verifying my DOB or last 4 digits of my SSN. Sorry, I’m not giving that information up without valid reason. I looked up the company and they’re based out of WI, but this prefix is in OH.
