caller id: SSI, another site shows this as a dangerous and nuisance robo caller

just got a call from this number at 10:48 PM. Supposedly from Sen Tillis. IF I was going to vote for him, he just lost a vote for calling this late. His office will be getting a call about the late call first thing Monday morning.

Called to ask if I needed anything due to coronavirus? I said no and the call ended.

SSI or Survey Sampling International, recently purchased by Dynata so the Caller ID might read SSI-Dyanta is a telephone survey company (global). They are not telemarketers as they do not sell anything. Telephone surveys are legal as per the two enabling laws that established the DNC registry and are not regulated. They have a website with a contact us page where you can stop the calls.

They just called me.

Calling saying they are Microsoft but won't give their information. Asked to take a message and send it on their behalf. Stated they attempted to send an email but it bounced back. Offered to send THEIR email address to the person they were trying to reach, refused to provide. No legitimate business refuses a direct message.
