Area Code 919 Information and Location Details

This number keeps calling me but I don't answer and they do not leave VM.

Got this after moving into my new home as well. Called wondering if it was a "welcome to the neighborhood" type of package or coupons or something. Haven't received a call back but now from reading this I know what to expect.

Got the same postcard, total scam. Just after purchasing home in Raleigh. I called thinking we had missed some package delivery, but she wanted our number and address. Why would you need my address if you had a parcel addressed to me? Total BS, ignore this. I can't stand slimy, shady people. Eff off!

Also received one in the mail today in Durham...just closed on my house 10 days ago. They're just trolling the register of deeds looking for recently completed sales, as are those mortgage insurance companies. Had my name listed wrong on the envelope and no return address. Had it marked as Last Name Middle Name. I called the # and didn't say anything.... "Welcome neighbor. I'm Robert, Kate Jones

Same here.. Welcome to the neighborhood! We have a special gift for you as a neighbor welcoming group. just need to set up a time to come by your house and show you your water quality and your spouse has to be there as well (increase scare tactic chances of saying look at what you are giving to your kids!). waste of time.

This is a printed note with no return address on the envelope. Postmarked Charlotte, NC. I called the number inside and it rolled into voicemail with "Kate Jones" asking to leave a message. I hung up.

Yep. Got the letter in the mail, same as everyone else. I'd recently munched on some bacon and needed a toothpick so I picked my teeth with the little postcard, then threw it in the trash. Thanks for the heads-up. Those elite water systems dorks really get around.

I actually did call. I wanted to see what they were pulling. About 30 sec in I said no thank you and was hung up on. Don't call

Shady sales tactics perhaps..but what is the law they are breaking that you are referring to?

Rec'd mailing "we have parcel for you" twice. Didn't call based on feedback

Also received mail solicitation, they are fishing for phone numbers. This is illegal.

just moved to Cary from New Jersey, got the post card mailed in an envelope postmarked in Charlotte ... not calling based on prior posts

Got a mailing this morning, stating call for parcel. If they have my address then they can just send the parcel too me?? I will not be calling anyone that has no return address of other information to tell me what kind of company they are.

Ditto here, a mailing just as described. Did not call them.

Same as post above: Received a solicitation in the mail. Mailing address on envelope was handwritten, but there was no return address. Envelope contained single flyer, instructing me to call about a parcel, whose number was also handwritten. Said to "Ask for Kate Jones."I did not call based on post above.
