A scam operation working out of Mexico or New York. offering to buy timeshare at inflated prices but demanding huge fees to complete the sale We have wired money to Mexico which we now feel was definitely a scam and fraud involved

I just got scammed by Gratefill Properties, Ron Clarke. I guess my $$ are gone. When they asked for a 3rd fee for taxes, I stopped. I already was bled dry.

How did you pay him? If you gave him a credit card or checking account #, contact the issuer and report a fraudulent transaction. You MIGHT be able to get your money back. If you sent a money order, gift cards, or other untraceable means, you're unfortunately out of luck.

Received an email from them out of NYC for a property in Cancun I had a legit attorney get rid of for me at least a year ago. DO NOT SEND THEM INFO AND $$. Plus think about it. Who wants a timeshare from Mexico now with COVID numbers rising?

He asked if he could send information to my email address(which he already had). I agreed and he did. I looked it over and waited a week before I answered his call again. I told him that I looked at the broker's name that was on the Letter

Nash of Gratefill Properties contacted me with an unrealistic offer of 80,000 for my timeshare, and I know it is not worth that high amount. They dont have the accurate information and seemed to be fishing for information as well. If it is too good to be true, then it's a scam.

Worked with a Ronald W Clarke, claims to be with Gratefill Properties in New York. We were doing a transaction for a property in Mexico, price Ronald quoted me seemed fair at the time, but now I realize it was inflated. I wired funds to Mexico for a Tax ID #. Next, I was told to wire funds again to Mexico for Taxes. Lastly, at this point desperate to get the deal done, I was told the last step

Claims we put no monies upfront from us - buyer pays all fees including closing costs - but his commission is 6% (seems very high) at the end.
