Area Code 908 Information and Location Details

Was told by a computer voice from another number to call this number if a supposed Amazon transaction was not made by me. Blatant scam and terrible timing considering it was Prime Day this week and tons of people probably ordered!

Just received a call from this number saying that it was social security and someone is using my number. I googled the number and this popped up first!SCAM!!

Received a call from 908-409-3631. No message left.

Called me on my mobile number.

No message left.

My mom got a call from 'Amazon' asking if she had made a purchase of $279.99 and to call 908-409-0554 if she hadn't. Scam.

I received a phone call today (9/23/20) purportedly from Amazon that a charge of $279.99 was made on my credit card. They started the call with my first name and they knew the "brand" of credit card in my Amazon account. They said if I did make the purchase, I did not have to do anything. If I did not make the purchase, then they wanted me to call 908-409-0433 which they say is Amazon Customer

Same message as previous people have commented. My purchase amount was $279.99. I called Amazon and they told me they don't call customers when a purchase is made on their card. This is a scam.

Caller left a message, something about an Amazon delivery, asked me to call them back at 908-409-0433. Message was cut off at the beginning. Caller ID on the incoming call was 238-175-6908, no such area code.

Phone call from this number today 9/22/2020 that a charge on amazon.com of $279.99 was billed to my account. If I did order that amount, do nothing otherwise call 9084090433 to stop the billing. This is bogus. I checked my Amazon account and nothing is outstanding.

I received the same call from this number saying I ordered something today in the amt of $279.97. I made no such purchase I wondered if it was spam. Thank you for reporting.

Call from an unknown number went to my answering machine. Their incoming message talked over my outgoing greeting, so all I caught was (paraphrase) "-- if you made this purchase, hang up and we will deliver your order. Otherwise, contact Amazon Support at 908-409-0393 [number repeated]". I call 'scam'....

Scam caller. Uses last four of social and says there is a complaint against you and to call to speak to a mediator.

I just got a call from this number to my cell phone.
