Just got a call, didn’t answer. “This is Gina, ID number 71270” on voicemail, message cut off after that. Heavy southern US accent. Thank you, previous posters, was probably the same type of phishing call.

Called 2 times. Said nothing, I hung up. Called them back. Recorded prompt selection, then to access my Sears account I was to enter either my account number or "SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER" First thing I don't have a Sears account, it was canceled a long time ago but when I asked for SSN... Claimed they were CitiBank etc(Any payment due Citibank had been paid, at the bank, on time in full.) They were belligerent uncooperative insisting I pay give them verification of social security etc. BIG SPAM BE CAREFUL. !!!Now on line ?

These people are trying to collect on a debt that is no longer within the Statute of Limitation.

Not illegal or prohibited. Only attempting to sue or threatening to sue would be illegal. You should have kept on reading and you would have found the permanent solution to this problem.

Well you can keep on blocking, or you can make the calls permanently stop and make them pay you for the harassment. I don't know who you are "complaining" to either.
