Area Code 859 Information and Location Details

Like others we contribute to the DAV but calls from them are unnecessary and a nuisance.

Yep, same deal, a recorded message from a Mr. Burgess of the DAV. I NEVER give my credit card number over the phone unless I originated the call. Had I talked with this gentleman, I would have asked him to send me a written request for a donation, which I see as much more verifiable than a phone call.

Called again to a landline. Once again marked as spam by our telephone provider. Caller ID was "SPAM? DISABLED." This number is also listed as a robocaller on another website. This number is blocked by our telephone system.

Called again with "DISABLED AM VET" Caller ID. I wrote to them after the last call to express my disdain for these calls, but I received no reply. Unfortunately, this organization has been deleted from my charity list.

Robocall at 109PM Thursday. I hit “ignore” and a voicemail was left. It was Mark Burgess, head of the DAV, with a recorded message saying that a lot of our military are overseas and we all need to keep one another in our prayers.

Called again to a landline. No longer marked as spam by our telephone provider. Caller ID was "DISABLED AMER." This number is blocked by our telephone system.

An example of rampant data mining. We're a long-time contributor to DAV, but they should not have our telephone number. Caller ID was "SPAM? DISABLED," and all spam calls are automatically blocked by our telephone system.

Might be legit. Call didn't go through as my call blocker stopped the phone from ringing. I do give to them, and will in the future, but I will do it on my schedule and no one elses.

I received a hand written card with thanks for my giving to Disabled American Veterans and how much it meant to our American Heroes. As I do give every month to DAV, I found this card to be rare. Hand written. Really? I was touched so I texted this number with my gratitude. It didn't come back as a landline but at the same time, I have received no response.It was delivered in an "Official" DAV env
