She asked lots of questions about people who worked here and I hung up on her too!!! Don't have time when she can't tell me anything, but asking me lots of questions.

Woman with an accent claimed to have spoken with a specific executive (who is no longer here) regarding our telephone system, wanting to update him. She finally admitted this was her company's annual check-in to find out whether we're interested in upgrading. Anyone placing a bid for a job must go through Purchasing, so I sent her there, although I doubt they're serious.

I received a call from this number today. He was very had to understand but he finally told me that he was from Harte Hanks. He asked from someone that doesn't work here and he gave the correct name of our company. We do not give out information so I told him he would have to speak to our manager. He said that he would call back later.

Caller claims to be from "C.I. Technology Database" - a telemarketer database "specializing in education & technology decision makers".

Just received a call from this number. The person has a heavy Indian accent and can barely be understood. She was trying to confirm information on our IT equipment. Someone from Harte Hanks Inc. just called and requested to 'update our computer equipment'. Obviously someone doesn't know how to read from a script (they sounded like the Indian MS scam after that comment about updating, so I wasn't playing along), if they were trying to update some Rolodex of information about the company I work for, they failed. Tried several times to verify what they even want

Called and asked for "Joel" in our engineering department. I asked if we used their services, and he replied yes, and when he last spoke with "Joel". Terribly annoying Harte Hanks call. Just ignore them, they ask a whole list of employee contact info questions & won't tell you why.

Call several times each week. Have been told by HR they will not verify positions or titles. Keep asking for the same information address, company name, and titles.

Man with accent (and a lot of background noise) wanted to verify a list of contacts. I said that company policy dictated putting his request in writing, and he confirmed the mailing address. Whether he'll actually do so is anybody's guess.
