Area Code 847 Information and Location Details

Despite the number of rodents manning their phones, this seems to be a relatively new crew working out of the Orange county area. Please post any additional information you might obtain when - not if - they call again. Thanks.

Quite a bit of misinformation there. First I have to wonder why you replied to a post clearly made in 2010? Expecting that person to stop back? This number is from Illinois and not California so I don't know how you came to the conclusion that the calls were from California but by reading the more current post it appears that they are actually located in India.

I had multiple missed calls from this number, so I finally answered to see what was up. An Indian guy said something along the lines of “Hi, this is customer service representative number 67288, calling from Chase bank. Called on my cell phone 1st then a few seconds later called house phone and as USUAL did not leave message. After reading all other comments I can only presume it is JPMorganChase. Cell phone says it was from Elgin, ILphone number will be blocked. If they would leave a message I might call them back if I knew what it was about.

Started getting calls from this number about a month ago approximately once a day. In last couple of weeks 2 to 3 calls come from this number almost daily, starting at 8 o’clock in the morning.? I would never pick up on such a number, but that was super-confirmed when I started reading the posts here.

A male, due to message left, obviously from India-identified his first name only as Terry and stating he is a Chase Bank Consultant/J.P. Morgan Chase. ID showed up as Elgin, IL when phone rang. I could hear all the background noise of all the other scammers calling other potential victims. Demanding a call back to this time sensitive issue, stating it's an urgent matter and "not a sales call." He
