I got the same phone call, guy named John Frank. I don’t have any debt.

This number has called and left voicemails to call John Frank at 847-259-4700;135Googled around and it’s a debt collector. The number he asks me to call is a different company then the original number. I have no debts, and no family with debts, not sure why they are calling me. They don’t even use my real name, instead they use my nickname that I share online.

Caller refers to himself as "John Frank"... kept pressing me to verify an identity and when I didn't, caller disconnected. Not sure but they need to do better research.

This number belongs to American Financial Associates in Arlington Heights, IL, per BeenVerified. I checked their website, and they are an attorney assisted debt collector. My caller identifies himself as John Frank.

You must be leaving something out. The only firm I can find with that name is an insurance company. Simply stating that they are an "attorney assisted debt collector" means nothing as they still have to follow both federal and state collection laws.
