How is a survey call a scam call? SSI stands for Survey Sampler International.

They reported to being the Department of Social Security. When I called back, they answered as such. When I asked if that was true, they confirmed again. When I said I suspected fraud, they hung up on me.

they told me my social had fraudulent activity and that i had to call back before they'd pursue legal action.

Computer voice says there has been fraudulent activities on your social security number and tells you to call back their number. It's a scam.

They left message that there was a Legal Enforcement action file on your SSA and fraudulent activity. A guy who is obviously from another country, asked where I lived? When I asked where he was located he said New York. I said oh ...state or city? He became very confused. He asked for personal information, which I did not give. I googled the number and it came up as Scam / Social Security

Called my cell. Vm was a robocall message that just stated the phone number to call

Answered and they hung up.

Partial message that left 346-347-7601 as the number to call back; cross reference says it's a SS# scam.
