Area Code 831 Information and Location Details

No one on the line.

The caller id said Aptos CA. It was another call from a group representing law enforcement. I am all for the police, but when I declined to donate, the caller took a surly tone, and read some script about my donation would not be tax deductible. I have donated to these law enforcement organizations before, but because they have become pests, and never stop calling despite my asking to be removed

Any ideas who calls from this number?

I get repeated calls from this number daily - I do not answer as it is not a known # to me - never leaves a message- I believe it to be spam. Unfortunately, I do not get to block unlimited #'s on my phone or I would simply block it from calling again.

The usual "charity " robo caller scam. They can't even be bothered to dial themselves Ask how much of the donation goes to the charitythey will hang up. They know you are onto them

Caller asked for garbled name , I couldn't understand the name, I said I think you have the wrong number they hung up not the first time they've called

Have received calls from this number three days in a row on my WORK LINE! First time I give our greeting, nothing so I hung up.Yesterday a female voice asks for me and I asked "who's calling?" and she said something about credit center So I said "not interested in what you're selling" and hung up. And just now another call with no response. Don't know how to block a call on my work phone...

Lolol First off you can’t steal ANY info just by saying “hello” ??‍♀️Secondly they call me every morning too and no message so I blocked their number now.

They will record your voice then they can call any place that has your personal information using your recorded voice. Technology is great but it is also being used against us by these scammers. Be careful!

Are you referring to that alleged scam of a caller recording you saying "Yes" then using it for nefarious purposes? Because that was simply an unsubstantiated rumor with no documented proof of anyone actually being harmed by it.
