We received a call yesterday.

Got a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

Thank you for the helpful comment. They keep calling and not leaving a message. I’ll tell them to call T-Mobile Corp for a donation.

They ask for my husband and then hung up on me when told he was not available. If they are asking for a donation to any thing they sure will not get it now!

The real EDF (Environmental Defense Fund) is a great and admirable charity. This is probably not them, and is a spoofed number used by fraudsters.

This company calls me everyday! I picked it up once to see if I could get them to stop calling me. There is no one on the other end. No message is EVER left. Facter Direct is a legitimate company based in Sherman Oaks, Ca., I looked up their website, unless that is fake too. Lol.

Call ID says from Facter Direct (Facter with an 'e') and this is third time at least, without leaving a message.If it really is from that company and not a spoof, then it's a call center based in Los Angeles. Profile: Call center specializing in calling non-profit organizations donor base for memberships and additional giftdonations.

Please look this charity up on charity navigator before you trash them. We have donated for years and we are NOT "wealthy elite!" They get results that helps our planet. That being said, I'm not convinced that's who this caller is.

This number calls me almost every day for several weeks. I do not answer and they do not leave message....very annoying.

Since it was an 800 I called them back. The caller ID says "EDF" which stands for Environmental Defense Fund. They are well funded by wealthy elites who are involved in what is called "Green Washing". Their board of directors is top heavy with corporate bosses. Google them and find out more.
