Got a phone call from this number. The caller left no message.

Who is using this number?

Seek personal information( pretending to be phone co.). Called co.& they said it is a scam call. Many customers calling them & are angry these received call & questions seeking personal info. Told to block call. Strange because when I called back the same, blocked call, it was an employee of the real company. Very confusing!

Got a missed call and a text message with a link to pay my Verizon bill saying that my payment is overdue. Checked the link and it DOES NOT LOOK like Verizon mobile web to pay. I believe I already have my payments set to auto pay so this seems completely like fraud to me.

This is NOT a scam. No one is trying to steal your credit card or personal information. This number is from the payment office at Verizon Wireless (it's not their collection department). They're calling you because your payment is overdue. And they're actually doing you a favor because these calls come within three days of when they disconnect (suspend) your cell phone.

I'd BEWARE of this number guys. I DO NOT HAVE VERIZON, never have, yet I'm receiving these calls.

I get these calls, too. I typically run about 15 days late with my payment because I get paid once a month. They will also stalk you via text. I get a text asking me to commit to paying the balance by a certain date by responding 'Y' to the message, essentially making a payment arrangement. You'd think this would stop the calls & texts. Just wanna add that as a former sprint customer, I'd rather get auto-calls than have my phone shut off. Sprint doesn't call at all, they just shut you off.

This is indeed Verizon Wireless, I'm two months behind on my payment and they were calling to let me know they were close to shutting off my service. This is a separate part of Verizon they only do debt collection.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. This morning I got a computerized vm from verizon saying I had 24 hours to pay. Then this number called me 4 more times and left no message. I am about 2 days late, have been a verizon customer for 10 years, my bill for my family is about 250 every month! They make bank on me and harass me. Never had my phones shut off! Pisses me off!

Verizon will do this: they call over and over again. The next day, the phone number will change slightly, but still call over and over. When they start this, I turn off my phone and simply check it every now and then. I don't know why Verizon behaves like this. It is very cheap and telemarket-y, scammy-like.
