Area Code 818 Information and Location Details

Caller id shows "Wireless Caller", so conceivably this could be a valid caller, but they've called 2 days in a row and hang up on the answering machine, so I'm leaning toward this being a spoofed number being used by a scammer.

Any ideas who calls from 818-271-0464?

Today I was fast enought to press the caller id button (818-271-3171) so that I could find out who was calling from this CA number. I am the only office person for a manufacturing company of 31 employees. I do everything and have learned to put these calls on hold til they hang up because they will badger you to buy whatever they're selling: "no thanks" will set you up for 15 minutes of blah blah

818-271-3171 These people have called here 7, yes I said 7, times today. I have given thema fake contact name and direct them into our lobby phone where i have a generic message set up. Ditto.He called up, said "Shipping please." I asked who was calling "Ira" VERY RUDE. I told them the person wasn't available, he asked for her name, I aked what it was in reference to, and he HUNG UP! Very rude. They should be taken off the calling list!

Similar experience. I verified the company address, they asked if we buy tape, I said yes we do, they hung up before I realized it was a scam and tell them not to call. I reported the phone number 818-271-3171 to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

They call me twice a day and I hit "reject". They have yet to leave a single voicemail. A few minutes ago they actually hung up one ring before the voicemail usually answers. Apparently they're learning. And thanks to all of your great comments, I've learned not to waste my time with them

They called asked to who ordered the shipping supplies..told them that I wan't sure.. they hung up before I could transfer them to the office manager.

Same as the rest. This company is extremely persistant. Cut them off as quickly as possible.

Same story as the rest. A phone call from a company called U.S. Industrial Supply trying to find out my packaging needs and whom are offering free gifts. After all the promises they asked for a P.O. number to use as a confirmation. They stated that it could be a zero cost P.O., but they did need a number for confirmation. These people have called our office 3 times today. VERY RUDE and unwilling to provide their company name, etc. I refused to transfer the calls to our packing supplies buyer.

Grace was the same person who called me. I asked her several times the name of the company she was calling from and she refused to tell me. I asked if she was a telemarketer and she hund up, then waited a few weeks before starting again.

The lady called for someone who no longer works here so she asked for purchasing. She said her name was grace. She DEMANDED I get him on the phone by REFUSED to give her name. She was SO rude I left her on hold until she hung up! I will be the no who answers tomorrow, I hope she calls!!! Now I see all of the notes & I will be prepared for her. I also warned are purchasing guys in case she slip
