Area Code 817 Information and Location Details

I received a pre-recorded voicemail from 817-861-1321, claiming to be Samantha Leevy from Nestor and Associates, but the only companies I can find with that name are CPA accountants and construction firms, neither of which have any reason to call me and would not be coming from a local number. I just got this call and i didn't even give it a chance to go into my voicemail. I have got it blocked, which, based on the other comments, seems like a good idea. The name on my reverse lookup app comes up as a "Shelly Combs".

Follow up: i just did a google search on this 'Shelly Combs in Texas' In that search, the site "Been Verified" shows this person with this same number, as well as her address and other information. The big question is whether this Shelly person us actually involved in this possible scam or whether her telephone number was spoofed, using her number, without her knowledge.

Get a call from this number almost every day. Do not answer and put a block on it but still calls almost every day with the block only rings one time and cuts off.

I get calls from this number on my mobile and at my office at least one a day at both numbers. An app on my mobile labels the call as "scam/fraud". Got a call from this number today 2/7/2020. As soon as I answered the robo voice said they need to speak with me or my attorney about an ongoing investigation. This is ridiculous! Why do these scammers even exist?

Had a real nice conversation with the scammer. After you get through the layers of defense mechanisms, I got down to the fact that he's just inadequate, and to be honest, doesn't really know the true "him".
