Area Code 817 Information and Location Details

Not very happy right now as they called at 9 pm just to tick me off

Caller left message about an authorized login attempt on my Amazon account advising me not to use my device until calling them back. Got to be a scam as Amazon uses 800 numbers and don’t call on authorized logins.

I did not answer. However, I did call back and received a recording that says "thank you for calling portfolio recovery associates". I don't owe anyone so I assume it's the person that had the number previously. The number is now blocked.

Called my cell yesterday. Could hear call-center noises in the background, but no one responded when I said hello.

PORTFOLIO RECOVERY a debt collector. A very nice sounding woman called and kept asking for a "A____ G_______" regarding a business matter. I let her know, that I don't know that "A____ G_______" and she must have the wrong number. The woman then said she would remove my number from their calling list. I then called them back from a private line and followed the prompts to discover they are PORTFO

This us the scumbag bill collectors from Portfolio Recovery Associates.

Appears as a missed call on my phone at work.

Got a phone call from this number. No message left.

No message left. Do not know who called me.

Windows computer scam live person called at 3:30am

Unknown caller.

Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?

Called at 9:56pm. Silence then recorded “goodbye”
