Area Code 817 Information and Location Details

Did not answer, did not leave a message.

Caller ID said Hurst TX. A male automated voice saying he was from the Firefighter's association. A previous call from this same number on 17 Jan 20 was from the Fraternal Order of the Police. Obviously a scam.

Got a call from this number. No message left.

Received a call. No one was on the line after my answer.

Called and said they were an officer from the social security administration and they were calling about fraud on my account and wanted me to call back before they started legal proceedings.

Although the area code and caller name are indicative of a local call, in today's world it could be a call from a Russian Gulag or a Chinese fortune cookie factory. Pretty safe to assume that they're just scammers.

they're back at it - as noted, caller ID reads "TEXAS CALLER" - hung up on the answering machine so now blocked

Called Tues. at 10:25 am and 4:19 pm,, Wed at 7:29 pm, and Sun, today, 6/10 at 11:10 am - never a message, just Texas Caller as id on phone screen.

These morons just called me and didn't leave a message so I called them back and no one answers the phone. SCAMMERS!!!!!!!

Numerous calls daily and must be an autodialer or robo call. Have smart blocker, unless it is a person AND they follow directions given ... no ringing. I just see a missed call.

Too much information - we don't need to know about the family health care problems. You open yourself up to more calls.
