Area Code 817 Information and Location Details

Phoned and left no message.

Got a call and no message. When I called the number back, a woman picked up quickly and said GM Financial. Give me your loan number and social security number. My car is recently paid off. Did not give her any info.

Anybody getting calls from this phone number?

i have been getting a call every day Monday-Friday about the same time. I do not answer calls I don't know.

They keep calling me and I do not have any loan through them, nor have I ever. I have never even heard of them.

Car was on the bankruptcy.They refused to pick up car or give title. My lawyer contacted them about how the are violating bankruptcy code. They refused to pick up car which happened to be when I was moving. My landlord stored the car and charged them

Yep, its true. If you are a 'customer' of theirs, then the Do Not Call list won't apply. You can only ask them to not contact you, but good luck on getting them to honor that.Your best way of combating this is to not buy that slick looking new car on credit next time. The junker you can pay cash for will stop these calls immediately.

americredit is a car loan company. You can be on the do not call list and if you owe them money they can still call you.

Called but I never answer numbers I don't know. After looking here I'm glad I didn't. I am so totally SICK of the number of calls I get from merchants who are violating the do-not-call list I am on. What can be done about this? My call blocking list is now much longer than the number of callers that I accept and that is NOT a reflection of the number of people I know, just the greedy companie

garbled message to call back. I did a return call back but it went to a different number. The person that answered wanted my social security number. that was the only thing I understood. I told her I was going to report them to the fcc, response was "so what who ever you are". So I did. The number that my phone says I returned is; 805-637-7143.
