Does anybody else getting calls from this phone number?

Anybody getting calls from this phone number?

Called and hung up with no message.

Got a call from 816-895-4189. No message left.

The caller left no message.

Got dead air.

I have a landline number with a message box. Ringer is turned off but has blinking light when I have received call. I then can check for messages at my leisure. I am very selective about giving out my cell number---which would be only to people who are family, friends or business acquaintances. I give the landline number when asked for a phone number but don't want to give them my cell number

So what does all of that have to do with the call?

Answered the call, no one on the other end.

Called, didn't leave message.

Called on a Sunday Morning. Caller ID indicated "Unknown Name". Which means the obvious, I did not know who was calling. As is my custom with calls like this, I did not answer. No message was left, but I will contact the Attorney General of this caller number. But I'm pretty certain, this will not be a a priority on the States Agenda.

1043 CDT. No mesage left. FYI from 26 Jun - 31 Aug I had 127 of these types of calls.s.

Didn't answer call, they left no message, which mean it was no one important.

I answered and the caller asked if I supported the K C Mo Police department and would I like to pledge $35,$55 or some other amount. I asked him if he was a police officer and he said he wasn't allowed to "go off script" but that he could connect me to his supervisor or give me another 800 number that I could call to verify the call. I hung up.

Forgot to say (above) that I called the number back to get the name of the organization and the "caller" said "hello". Just another scam! I am going to call the police and let them check it out.
