Area Code 816 Information and Location Details

I received a call from this number on my cell phone, but I didn't answer. Another site issued a phone scam alert that it was a health insurance scam with a severe call activity and advised not to answer.

It is not a collection agency. It is a market research and political survey. The DNC list does not apply to them but if you wish for them not to call you again simply dial their number and tell them and they won't call again.

Just got a call tonight (while a household member was trying to sleep) @ 8:57Pm...just before they KNOW its "cut off" time for them to be calling. I answered and said...why do you wait until 3 mins to 9:00P to call? and they started to say something...and stopped. I think I caught them off guard. I knew it was a telemarketer because they are the only ones who call at such times and I also did not

Since the DNC list only applies to callers selling goods or services and neither you nor other posters stated what the caller was selling, what makes you think this caller is bound by the DNC rules? They are still bound by other rules such as the 8am - 9pm local calling windows but many types of annoying calls are exempt from honoring the DNC list. I've been receiving daily calls from this number going on a couple of months now. I never actually answer it, so I don't know what (or who) it is.It's a bit spooky to constantly receive calls from them, though.

Anyone know who is calling from this number? Call just indicates St. Joseph, MO.
