Area Code 812 Information and Location Details

Thank you, Mike, for a very detailed post and thank you, Ed, for starting the thread. Exactly the same scam about $299 on my end. Reported to FTC and my phone provider. Has anyone contacted law enforcement yet?

I agree. I had the same experience today - right down to the same $299. It's a scam.

Nonsense about $299 being charged unless you call to cancel. It's automated so everyone who calls is almost guaranteed to be a sucker.

Got the same message today. An obvious scam

has to be a scam; recommend not returning call since may be one of those scams that charges you phone number

Received call at 11:46 a.m. today. Recording about refunding 99 cents, and to call that number to cancel or stop payment. Know that's a scam...

I just got the same call. I argued with him and asked to be transferred to someone in the United States to which he replied that he couldn't do that

We had a call saying they were deducting money from our account. Obviously spam

Received a call that was a recording saying it was Microsoft for my computer and that they would deduct $299.00 or if I wanted to cx they would refund me $99.00. I knew to refund me would require my bank info or something so I hung up. I did ask for someone in the USA to which he replied to hat he would speak clearer. I hung up

Got the same call as Wilson above around noon today. I don't owe anyone $299.99. - SCAMRecording saying: This is customer service you owe $299.99 will be deducted from your account. If you wish to cancel or stop the payment please press "1" or call back at 812-518-0466.

Recording saying: Money will be deducted from your account. If you wish to cancel or stop payment to press "1" or call back at 812-518-0466. The thing is a don't know this company nor i owe any money to it. I suspect it to be a scam.

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a LEC intercept saying that the number is not in service.

Canadian Pharmacy using numerous numbers

Calls, no message. No idea who this is.

Canadian Pharmacy - "Julie" calling - I hung up on her

In broken English, I believe they said they were calling from the Canadian pharmacy and were trying to sell me viagra.
