Author House, recruiting authors for self-publishing. I’m not interested.

This is a publishing company’s phone number and my mother keeps telling me not to buy anything to become an author and not allowing to me to anything that I want to do

This is a SCAM. Say they are with a publishing company. Sure they are!

I requested some info about 5 years ago. They have been calling me ever since. (I went with Create Space instead.)I asked the girl to take me off her call list. I got called again. I went to the Author House website and sent a message to stop calling me or I would file a claim as I am on the do not call list and have been more than tolerant. They called again, so now I will file a claim.

It's AuthorHouse. They left me a message on my cell asking me to call if I was ready to publish my book. I am on their email list, but interested how they found my cell phone (just checked my email profile with them and it's not there.)

This company is known as Xlibris.They are a self publishing scam that has more than 300 complaints in the past three years from the BBB. Do NOT get scammed by them. I nearly did.

I just pulled up the number, went to menu, and added them to my 'reject call' list. No message is left but i can believe it would be authorhouse since I have previously published a book using their printing service.

I answer call and ask your company to stop calling, but they are still calling!!. At this time I CANNOT afford to pay the prices that your company is asking for. And I also think its a scam to get peoples money. Publishing companies help you publish a book anot reap you off. Please Stop calling, NOW!!!

I just spoke with someone who claims he is the "independent author" of the move "Legally Blonde".... I know its not, but would like to know who to contact to let them know that this person is taking credit for the work of someone else, for sales purposes of Author House "independent" Publishing.

This number has called my cell phone numerous times in the past few weeks - including once yesterday and then again just now. I have 'rejected' their calls and now it looks like they left a voice message. How do we stop this calls - I am so fed up with them, especially on my cell.N
