Same thing as Richard.I answered and I hear someone say, “Hi, is this someone who...” and then they hung up.

4 calls btwn 1108a & 3:11p on A SUNDAY. I've answered the last two but when caller finally clicks into answered call, he/she never speaks and abruptly hangs up. Such a waste of both of our times. Why hang up if I actually answered?? Am blocking this #, as other comments all agree it is spam.

Under Federal Law, it is legal for telemarketers to call between 8:00am and 9:00pm (your local time) any day of the week. This would include Sundays. Your State might have laws that are more strict.If the caller was a scammer, then they do not care about breaking yet another law and will call anytime they like.

Called asked for me by name and said they were with a democratic party. However he was stern. He came across like a bill collector. He wanted money when I said not right now he ended conversation

same Teleservices annoyance called again. Also called on 732-313-2222. Both numbers claim they are calling on behalf of political or charitable but don't identify whom.

called and left no message. CID read New Brunswick. Calling number gives a message that sounded like they are "new progress teleservices". Given I'm on DNC list, any telemarketer who calls me is breaking the law so consider these people scammers.
