Ugh I been getting called by this number over a month I don't answer any phone calls unless I have a caller ID or I know the number . So I decided to answer and well obviously from the previous people who posted their experience with this number it is the same experience with me

It was kinda annoying and difficult to actually connect the call but this really was from my loved one in prison. It's not a scam. He was calling using a prepaid debit card. I think you can buy time for them too which may be why the one person was asked for a credit card. Anyway, in my case at least it was legit.

I also received numerous calls over the course of five days from this number. Reported to the FTC. Now, my cell phone doesn't register the incoming call, but I am getting voicemail after voicemail after voicemail. I am tempted to change my phone number to make it stop. This is harassment.

This is definitely a correctional facility. It doesn't have to be in Texas (the calls I've received is from a prison in Indiana) and when they ask for a credit card it's through global tell link. That's just the third party that funds the inmate calls.

This is not a prank call, this is attempt to scam people. They are calling repeatedly, using different robotic messages pretending to be from places they are not. Reported to the FTC

I received 5 calls from this number from starting at 5:49 p.m. and continuing until 6:38 p.m. Some within a minute of the previous one. Received 2 calls within 30 minutes from this # last night - one left a voicemail from an inmate "Robbie" - couldn't make out the facility it came from - thankfully, I let it go to voicemail because I don't know anyone with that name or would have reason to call me from a facility. An hour later, I received a call from 800-483-8314 stating unsuccessful attempts had been made to my # from an inmate

I got a message saying it was a prepaid call from "hey baby". That is what the guy said, then that it was from the detention center...I do not know anyone in SC detention center. Hope this gets cleared up.

I got a call from this number and the automated voice said "this is a one minute free call from" and then a guy said "Frank". It said to press 0 to accept or just hang up.

It's legit! My friend got picked up last week and that's who just called from a correctional facility from this number!

Got same call Kern County Jail this time however when called back the number they wanted me to give them my credit card number at cetera to put time on an account for calls from this number. Hope someone catches up with the scam.

Got several calls from this same number says clark county inmate facilities and it said my granddaughters name in it.
