(631) 923-1740UnknownI received a similar call except the last 4 digits were different. It was 6319231735.It was a call from global lifestyles.I submitted a report on the new number that global lifestyles is using.I used to get similar calls from a simplicity gourmet.I wish I could figure out who is giving my number away.
(631) 923-1740UnknownJust got a call from them too, but from 6319231824
(631) 923-1740UnknownI too received a call from a "Jennifer" with the bridal department of Global Lifestyles. She stated I had been selected to receive a vacation package that included the hotel accommodations for [I think] four nights at a 4-star hotel. She says I entered the contest at an expo I attended two months ago. When I asked her to email me the information, she stated they do not use computers, to which I
(631) 923-1740UnknownI got the same call yesterday afternoon, asked for them to call back and leave the details on a voicemail since i was out. Went to the website and its definitely one of those things offered to everyone. They have you go to a local hotel (although mine is an hr away-definitely not worth it) and listen to their sales speech for an 1hr and 1/2. Apparently after that you get your prize, which is no
(631) 923-1740UnknownI'm a guy and while I know nothing about bridal fairs I do know something about scams. There is a difference between "win a prize" and "selected to receive a prize." Win-a-prize should be free of any cost to you (the FTC has a strict definition for usage of "win") but selected-for-a-prize can have all kinds of traps in the fine print where you have to pay $$$. Sometimes it means nothin
(631) 923-1740UnknownI got the same call, the "prize ", was explained well and she emphasized no obligation to buy. The hotel demo is tomorrow, im skeptical now that someone mentioned seeing a deposit in the fine print
(631) 923-1740UnknownOkay so the woman explained the gifts well over the phone and explained that all we had to do was come to the hotel and listen to a sales pitch for an hour. My fiance and I listened to a sales pitch for over 2 hours for cooking ware. You do receive gifts, but like someone mentioned, they're not that great. The trip doesn't include food, airfare, car rentals, etc. By the time you would pay for all
(631) 923-1740UnknownIt just seems fishy that they don't tell you exactly what it is that you won. And from the looks of these posts, it seems they selected many prize winners.
(631) 923-1740UnknownJust got the same call. I'm registered on Knot.com and entered to win things on David's bridal. Don't know if it has anything to do with either of those. I haven't called them back. It seems fishy to me as well. If anyone actually meets with them, please update us.
(631) 923-1740UnknownI answered when they called, I spoke to Arlene. I had no idea where this call came from until a few minutes in, I realized I'd signed up to be entered in bridal giveaways when I was registering at a bridal shop. She said there's no timeshare deal involved, so I'm a bit tempted to go to the hotel. If you go to globallifestyles.com, it's all explained. Still not sure if it's a scam though.
(631) 923-1740Unknownwell i have an interview with them coming up ill find out whats what
