Area Code 631 Information and Location Details

I received 3 calls in one day from this number. I didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognize it and no message was left. I finally looked here. The day before I had transferred money out of Chase electronically. So it looks like Chase has been hacked. I immediately changed my password

Got a call from this number 631-878-1597 about 30 minutes afterwards..saying from JP Morgan Chase, (heard roosters in the background) she told me I needed to verify the code she was going to text me and repeat it to her in order to complete transfer. As soon as I made a chase transaction online this caller calls me and told the exact amount of the transaction, and ask me to read back the text number that she just texted me. I told her no. And hung up.This is a fraud. Chase bank doesn't do that.

I got a call from this number, since it was an unknown number I did not pick up the phone and they never left a message. Thank goodness I dd not answer reading all the above comments I am scared now.

these guys are really good, lots of angles to make them look like chase. i'm sure they are not. called back, the extension the guy gave me didn't get him, called the original number, message said leave name and number. the chase number they gave me was for Scott Wilson, Escalation dept 855 437 9530. very suspicious. i blocked all numbers associated with these calls. this kind of stuff always

I also thought it was a scam (they wanted the last 4 of my social) but it turns out it was actually Chase! I hung up on them and called the chase customer service line, ended up waiting on hold for a while but at least it gave me peace of mind I wasn't giving my info to this random #

Called saying that they were Chase and that there was suspicious activity on my credit card. I hung up and checked my accounts. Nothing. I followed Chase's original recommendations - Chase will never call the customer - Always confirm any doubts by calling JPM diectly!

Same thing. They somehow correctly knew that I had transfered some money. They then asked me to verify the phone number by sending a 5 difit code to my phone. From my experience, Chase always sent a 6 digit code, and this one was 5 digits. And it didnt mention anywhere that it was from Chase. Why would chase call you up on your phone, and ask you to verify the phone number when they are already on

Said she was from chase bank. Tried to get me to verify Information. Said she was from a corporate office.
