Incorrigible and clearly deceptive calls, followed by faxes, followed by letters to my unlisted home address. All of these despite requests to stop contacting me by any means. How does one get out of such a scam? I have fallen for this scam. Pls help.

Hi Y'all. This is not a "scam" legally but a super over priced association. I would have spent $1500 in the book they list you in $300), a etched glass plaque($500) a wall plaque and welcome packet ($300) and an airline voucher(valued at $400 that they approve) and $33 a month for the dues! So, I got out with some collateral damage. Yikes. Save your money for your REAL associations.

I just got a call from this number. They claimed to be Tara Mahoney from the International Association of Respiratory Therapists in regards to the application I submitted in July to be featured in the 2015 Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare... I have never in my life worked in the healthcare field... And definitely didn't apply to be in their publication.SCAM!
