Area Code 631 Information and Location Details

Robocaller claiming to be Social Security Administration. Claims they've noticed suspicious or fraudulent activity with my SSN and are freezing my number. Wants caller to press "1" to speak to representative. I hung up instead. OBVIOUS SCAM!

Chirs Collins called for the business owner from 631-625-6000. He hung up after I asked him more questions. Telemarketer or scam. Just hang up.

The "short" survey took up almost 15 minutes before they started getting too personal with their questions regarding our telecommunications at the office. She has called me back at least 3 times after I told her "I am done with this." Each time I say to stop calling... This is bordering on harassment now.

Received a call from 631 625-6001 at 6:18pm claiming to be from Medicare. Wanted to know how was the service I received from the company that gave me a walker. Told the poorly English speaking lady I received a walker from the hospital, she continued to ask about this unknown company, at that point I said something in Italian to her and hung up!

I took the call and it was a survey regarding a Sports Authority purchase from a few weeks ago. Sounded legit; 4 questions but was clearly not from my area (Long Island) as he couldn't pronounce a very common street that everyone on Long Island knows (it is an Indian name). He sounded American born though.

They called me and I stayed on the line. It is a legit survey company looking for answers to business office and wireless phone, computer and tv networks and companies used. DSL versus cable etc... how many employees and how may use what services. I went through entire survey @ 15 minutes. They did not ask for personal info just your name and confirmed the phone number they call to get you. Harmle

Woman called asking me to take part in a survey regarding politics and important issues in my area (NY). She stated all answers are confidential. I was uncomfortable with that and told her so. She answered somewhat sarcastically and I hung up. Having no proof of who she was or who she works for, why would I trust she would keep anything I say "confidential"?

got a call today. no message left. Phone ID says SSI. Based on what others have said, I guess it's not social security but a survey company.

Call comes all day long over and over again. I don't answer it cause I don't know #. No message on voicemail. Says SSI on caller ID.

Keeps calling my cell. Told him I wasn't interested and to remove my number from his list and he keeps calling.
