Area Code 631 Information and Location Details

The guy said that I had recently looked into lowering my insurance costs. I haven't, so I'm pretty sure this was a phishing attempt to get financial information from me.

I got the same ecact call today

I received this phone call today as well. Same info that I'm reading from everyone else about a grant for $14500. Call 631-570-8491 and give them my code to have it sent to my bank or money gram. Scam!

I got the exact same call. They want $300 upfront. scammers

Just got same call, played along and got confirmation #. I stopped there. Has to be a scam. I don't plan on calling the number "Sara" provided.

Same thing here. Supposedly received a grant for 14566 dollars but they ask for 250 bucks???. Scam for days someone shut them down.

Same grant story and Walmart routine. I cussed him and hung up and he called back! Tried to tell me number was in Washington, DC.

I played along with this man and asked him questions then he got real quiet like he got caught

the same applies me. Number is the same, except Walmark instead. Victor claims to be US government House and Human Dept. I called Walmark and the desk personnel stated it sound like a scam. Phone no 631 570 8491

I just got this call is it a huge scam??

I just received a call from a private number saying the US Federal Grant Department is giving me a grant of $14,560. He had my name and address. He said I could call 631-570-8491 to receive my money at a Walgreen's and gave me a confirmation code. He told me that I was selected because I paid my taxes on time and that I had no criminal record.

He told me to go to wallmart to receive a $250. Card then submit that card to Western Union to receive $14,800 . i smell CRAP!
