I just had that happen today too! Literally same story, wanted me to include a $300 gift card in the package and I would be reimbursed.

Called two times today. No message left.

Got a call from this number.

Same number- same exact message to me regarding 2 listed Diesel engines we are selling. The current bid was 2550.00- he was offering 3150.00 (because he couldn’t wait for the auction to end) but sent the same exactly worded request for information to make payment. His /her eBay name was medel-56 (member since 2019- no sales, no purchases, no feedback)

Same story but I was gullible enough to fall for orbit he told me he would send a tracking number but never did. That’s when I did some checking. I was new on eBay only just listed item. Won’t fall for it again. Put extra security on pay pal just in case
