Appeared to be a neighborhood caller, so the number is either a misdial or a CLONE. Beware!

Robo message purportedly from Amazon, telling us that if a purchase of $300 hasn't been made by us today, hang up and the purchase will be delivered. But if we didn't make this purchase, then hang up and call a certain number starting with Area Code 919.

Number looked local so I picked up. No voice or robo, no message at all. Obviously a CLONED number, which can indicate a scammer, spammer, or telemarketer.

From our neighborhood, but most likely a spoof. Scam?

Picked up. Claimed to be "Apple Security," said there was "an unauthorized login." Warned me "Do not access your accounts." When asked to press 1 for further info, I did so, and was connected to a south Asian who called himself "Jack Williams." I hung up. NOTE: Apple is somewhere else; this number is local to San Diego.

Picked up. No voice, line stayed open on their end for over 30 seconds. Suspect robocall scam.
