Dont answer to mark burns... Just find out if the company you owe has online paying service-- if they do then just make a small payment online every month- This way, the scavanger collector loses on his fee. Fee is the amount the agency charges, and then he gets a much smaller cut of that fee.

I am putting together a petition against Nemo's saying they should be shut down for misconduct and illegal activity. Has anybody around here heard of 3rd party disclosure??? The federal law will not allow a third party collector leave the company name or any information regarding the call on a recorder. This is because someone other than the intended party might get the information--thus 3rd party disclosure.

the BBB is a waste of time - call the federal trade commission (FTC)- look up the FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACT - they violate evry law there is!!!!

Thanks for the heads up. I just got a call from this number. From "Mark" person. Are they a legit agency? Are they calling about legit collections or is it a bogus inquiry? I am not aware of any outstanding monies that I have so I am suspecious
