Area Code 602 Information and Location Details

I have been getting calls all day from the *602* area code. This is the latest number that I am being spammed on. The phone rings, I answer, there is a long pause and then the line is disconnected. I try to call directly back, but get a message that the phone number that I am trying to reach has originated from an Arizona State employee and that I should hangup and try to call the group that may b

Just called my phone and left no message. I've never even went to Arizona!

This number just called. No message. I don't live in the state of Arizona, why would their department od education be calling me.

Called cell at 12:32 PM, CID Phoenix AZ, no message left. This number actually belongs to the Arizona Department of Education. Since I have never gone to school in Arizona, and never give out my cell number except to family, this was either a wrong number or spoofed for some sort of scam.

Received the call just like the previous people reported. A voice mail was left on my phone to call 602-542-1048. Did research and could not find the number of the ADOR website and then found this site. Looks like these people have not been caught yet.

Got the recording on my cell phone. Caller ID was 602 542 0000. Wanted me to call back the AZ Dept of Revenue at 602-542-1048 in both English and Spanish. I see that this started in Aug 2018 and it's still happening in April 2019. They are unrelenting i guess.

Same experience. Same phone numbers as above. I went to the Azdor website and this number wasn't on their site at all.

Yep got this call too! It’s a scam!

I received a call from "AZ dept of Revenue" similar to the others above re AZ Dept of Revenue. I could not find this number on the Dept of Rev. site and I did not return the call.

Constantly calls from different area codes , no vm

got a voice mail from this number they always contact you by mail never a call. SCAM

Received the exact same call as the others posting here. Thankfully I know better than to return their call.
