I got the same call and also have a private/unlisted phone number. They call a few times in a day sometimes and other times it will just happen a couple times a week. I just blocked their number from calling me at this point.

Claims to be a debt collector named RBC in Mansfield Ohio. I believe they are calling numbers at random. My number is private and unlisted. Either PHISHING or a SCAM.

I doubt that outfit is calling numbers "at random". However you would have to post what they said. Further, having a "private and unlisted" number does not prevent you from getting calls.

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report
