Maybe you are a part of this scam. I contacted Verizon and they told me that this is not one of their phone numbers and to not give anyone at this number my information.

It's a legit call from Verizon Wireless Financial Services or a third party collection agency that they hired wanting their money. If you pay your bill on time you won't get the calls. Verizon Wireless has called me using nearby area codes where I had made calls from hoping that I would be dumb enough to pick up. When I don't pick up that's usually when this 541 area code calls. This number has called me repeatedly telling me they are with Verizon and they need my social security number for billing or something. I am on a family plan with my family and my mother does all the billing so I believe this is a scam plus it is calling from a local number...

Whoever called about 6 times over 2 days never left message. Verizon sends text or 866 # in the past in my experience. Also my bill comes from Washinton and that is differant area code.

Received a message today. Two guys speaking, Sounded like part of a conference call. Speaker announced himself as John and said thanks to everyone for being a part of the team and he couldn't have done it without them. Went on and on about teams

No, Brent is correct. This is a legitimate number. Wary, I let the call go to voicemail. Within seconds I received a text message with a very specific dollar amount that matched what I actually owed Verizon, which I verified by using the mobile app. Oh, and I paid my bill. So, hey: happy ending.

The post stating that 541-505-3999 is a legitimate call from verizon is not true. This number is a phishing scam and "Brent" either fell for it or is a part of itI received multiple calls from this number today (I work nights so I slept through all but the most recent one) it used the exact same robo-voice as verizon and stated that it was verizon services and there had been an important change
